The Avon Valley District covers the most southerly part of the Cotswolds AONB and includes parts of South Gloucestershire, Bath & NE Somerset and Wiltshire. It extends from the parishes of Horton, Badminton, Acton Turville and Grittleton in the north to the boundary of the AONB in the south and the parishes of Wellow and Hinton Charterhouse.
Avon Valley District currently has over 80 wardens engaged in work parties, guided walks, parish warden duties and education projects.
